The plots are generally the size of an average back garden with a small number of larger plots at Friarstown. The plots are allocated from a waiting list which is compiled by date of application. At present there is a large waiting list of approximately 450 people, for all 4 sites which highlights the demand for this type of recreational facility. Applications can only be accepted from residents of the South Dublin County Council area. If you would like to make an application – click here. Only one application per household will be accepted.

The allotments have been improved by the provision of a water supply and parking areas. Some allotments have on-site storage, composting and toilet facilities provided for the convenience of plot holders. The feedback from plot holders is very positive.
